Ven. Omare Kassapa Sthaweera, chief incumbent of Kamburupitiya, Sapugoda Vidyanikethana Piriwena, also chief advisor to the Ministry of Education was recently appointed Pradhana Adhikarana Sanganayake of the Syamopali Maha Vihara- Sri Rohana Sangha Sabha Chapter (the chief justice of that chapter).
He has been elected to this supreme office as the chief Adhikarana Sanghanayaka on a unanimous decision made by the Maha Vihara.
A convocation ceremony was held at Matara Kotuwegoda Sri Rohana Mangala Randupatha Uposathagaraya by the Sri Rohana Sangha Sabha on May 10, 2012 chaired by Right Reverend Gombaddala Nandarama Maha Sthaweera in the presence of a large gathering of Bhikkhus, Bhikkhunnis and other devotees.
