A retrospection of Social Services by H3 Foundation

“Punchi Apita Awurudu 2012”, the New Year festival program which was organized by the H3 Foundation (Hearts & Hands of Humanity) & was held for the children of Lawris Children’s Home ended with the utmost satisfaction of all the parties concerned viz invitees, participants & onlookers. There was a considerable gathering & the streamlining of events was the”talk of the town” that day, for the very reason that it ended successfully.

The kids seemed to be active unprecedentedly. It was evident that these innocent children overjoyed because of the aberration from their monotonous daily routine of work. They experienced a new lease of life even for a day. Decentralizing responsibilities among the ardent supporters & working as a team wherever possible paved the way for the success of H3 Foundation. The strenuous effort & dedication of the volunteered members were highly appreciated by the administration of the so-called children’s home whom they made a viable approach in entertaining the innocent children.

All the events were carefully selected opening to all age groups as much as possible for a better participation & a live circulation of all the parties. Psychological & physical support to rectify their facilities as well as hidden talents were the main objective of introducing various games of different nature. In future too they intend to organize such entertainments to the handicapped each more successful than the best with the experienced gained through these activities.

By introducing events of different nature, they hope to inculcate children then worth & sense of belonging & love to their surroundings, to keep the jealousy among their counterparts at bay & to protect them from undesirable social elements as they lack parental love & supervision up to a certain extent. They hope they can reach the goal one day or other gradually with foresight as well as hindsight.

In conclusion Mr. W. Sachinda Dulanjana in the capacity of the Director of the foundation did not forget to convey his sincere thanks to all who extended their fullest co-operation, leaving no stone unturned, in making the festival a success. Many a social services have planned & will be in progress in time to come with the unstinted financial aids of well-wishers, he further added.
