Vajira Kulatilaka awarded AITAA Distinguished Alumni Award

Vajira Kulatilaka, CEO - NDB Group Investment Banking Cluster, was recently awarded the AITAA Distinguished Alumni Award (2011), for Business and Professional Achievements, by the Asian Institute of Technology Alumni Association (AITAA).

“He was awarded this accolade in recognition of his service in the region through outstanding professional and technical achievements at the 40th Governing Board Meeting in October 2011 held at the World Resort Genting, Malaysia.

A ceremony was also held in Sri Lanka for the official handing over of the award to Mr. Kulatilaka,” the bank said in a media release. It said “Vajira's immeasurable experience and broad-based knowledge of financial markets has been, and continues to be instrumental in revolutionizing the investment banking arena in Sri Lanka. While at NDB, Vajira has led numerous teams that have carried out successful and record breaking transactions, many which have earned NDB Investment Bank its current position as the leading investment bank in the country.”

Mr Kulatilaka is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK (FCMA) and a CFA Charter holder.
