New firm offers investors a full service including settling down and facilitating investments

A Canadian who had arrived in Sri Lanka to negotiate a deal spent four days but could not move a single paper in this issue, or found the going hard. Jayakody Muhandiram, Chairman/Managing Director, The Overseas Services Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd (TOS), part of Sri Toys International, cited this example during a press conference this week to explain the reason for launching his company and the services it would offer.

Referring to the above incident, he said TOS is the ideal partner in dealing with such situations and their group has more than 20 years services and are reputed for their trustworthiness in handling their clients.
He said that TOS will serve the Sri Lankan expatriates and foreigners to help settle their needs under one roof.

He said that those Sri Lankans who get employment or get settled in other countries, find it extremely difficult to attend their matters at this end. Let it be, selling or renting a property in Sri Lanka, settling bills and all other matters connected to government or other institutions, TOS is ready to serve them.

He said that TOS would eventually embark on a range of activities such as introducing new investment opportunities to the business community, find export markets for the local producers, assist overseas business people to find suitable local business partners, organizing media publicity on promotion of tourism, etc. They would also arrange accommodation for tourists.

The other specific services that TOS intends to provide for are property management, property care and real estate; organizing seminars and other functions for individuals, organizations government and NGOs; cultural shows overseas; assistance to SMEs to take their products to export markets and organize investment opportunities for business people.
