"I started off small with minus the staff, where I myself did everything. However as business developed and my clientele increased I decided to move to Jubilee Post Junction in Nugegoda in the year 1990. Initially my main area of focus was on bridal dressing, where it was normal for me to dress an average of 7 brides in a morning session. I was able to develop the business gradually and come to this level.

From the inception the DFCC Bank was with me. It has been very helpful and supportive providing the necessary financial advice and banking facilities that I required to develop my business venture. The banking staff is extremely friendly providing a professional and personalized service at all times", says Amali.

DFCC Bank assisted Amali to open up a branch in Longdon Place, Colombo 7, which has become quite popular among many VIP clientele. The main facility provided by the bank to Amali was the leasing service which she obtained for her air-conditioners and necessary hairdressing equipment.

"With regards to my leasing facilities the bank advised me exactly as to what I should do and was by my side every step of the way. What I value the most is the personalized service they gave me and still continue to offer which is most encouraging for a person such as myself who was new to this area.
Being the busy person that I am most of the time I have no time to visit the bank, however it is wonderful that the bank ensures that I am continuously updated and sends their own staff to my salon to take care of my banking requirements", further stated Amali.

Leasing facilities provided by DFCC Bank offers payments to be made in installments, where special leasing packages could be customized to suit customer requirements.

With regards to progressing with the bank in the future Amali said that she hopes to expand her recently launched training academy which has been named as the Academy of Beautification (AOB) and is also located at Jubilee Post Nugegoda. In addition to this Amali plans on branching out further providing her services to other parts of the country as well in the future.

In conclusion she said, "We are in a profession that is very much based on trust and customers who seek our services can always be reassured of the best professional care where we ensure that we provide products that are of the best international brands. I am proud that we have won the trust of many and continue to expand our customer base rapidly. I am very confident to go for business expansion, as the DFCC Bank is there to help me; and I am sure the bank will continue to provide the services I require in order to progress towards achieving my career goals."
