CIC Holdings PLC, formerly known as Chemical Industries (Colombo) PLC, in a strategic move to establish its new holding company status, has unveiled a new brand identity ‘that reflects the renewed aspirations of the company’.
In a statement, the company said the rapid diversification the group has undergone in the past few years called for a new brand identity that aptly reflects the diverse nature of the entity. “This new branding will serve to rejuvenate the brand identities of its diverse businesses. The distinctive new logo consists of two hands in blue nurturing a growing plant, underscored by the company’s motto - ‘nurturing lives’,” the statement said.
Samantha Ranatunga, Managing Director / CEO, CIC Holdings PLC., said the company’s policy of strategically planned growth has resulted in its diversification into a number of fields such as agriculture, animal feeds, healthcare and consumer products. CIC today represents a large number of world-renowned principals, and has established a number of manufacturing facilities and distribution points across the country.
“This rebranding exercise will serve to infuse new awareness of the CIC brand and its diversified business interests that nurture life. We believe that we are a truly unique company that touches lives across the country, nurturing the individuals and the country in the process,” he added.
