World recognized Edexcel HND from the American College of Higher Education

The American College of Higher Education takes another step forward by introducing Edexcel HND to the Sri Lankan higher education market. Being pioneers of introducing American style education to Sri Lanka, the American College has a strong foundation and a vast level of experience in the industry of higher education. ACHE leads the Sri Lankan education providers by providing American Degrees to Sri Lankan students for more than 16 years.

ACHE is academically affiliated with Broward College, Florida, USA, and Excelsior College, New York USA. More than 1,400 students have been transferred to USA, UK, Canada, Australia and many other countries and also, ACHE provides transfer options to over 4,000 universities and colleges worldwide. This has been possible due to the strong relationships with foreign universities resulted by working as an international centre of Broward College.

Edexcel HND, the most popular Higher National Diploma in Britain recognized by most of the British universities and some universities in the USA, Australia and Dubai; qualifies the students to enter into the final year of a bachelor's degree. Its increasing popularity due to the cost effectiveness of the programme is influencing students from middle income families to achieve their dream of foreign education. ACHE being a student oriented institute valuing every student equally has moved forward by opening their gates to a different segment of the Sri Lankan market by introducing this cost effective option of obtaining a foreign degree.

Higher National Diploma opens up new horizons for students who are ambitious about gaining professional qualifications and has created a new pathway to the students who want to pursue a foreign bachelor's degree. The duration of the Higher National Diploma course is 18 months, where the students are expected to complete 16 modules, and at the end of the course Edexcel - UK provides them the certificate which is accepted in universities worldwide, in order to get exemptions of 2 years. Hence, the diploma course is equal to 2 years of a UK bachelor's degree while equipping the students with professional qualifications.

Currently students can study Computing and Business Management subjects and ACHE is working on providing a wider choice to Sri Lankan students in the near future. The new HND programme is available for students countrywide from the branches in Colombo, Galle, Matara, Kandy, Negombo and Kurunegala. With their experience of over 16 years of delivering American degree programmes, ACHE will not take long to capture the hearts of Sri Lankan students with the HND programme.

Already equipped with a panel of highly qualified and experienced lecturers, ACHE ensures the quality of the facilities provided, and are committed to improve the student's knowledge, skills and personality.
Students can enjoy the facilities such as Library, Virtual Library, Computer laboratories equipped with modern facilities, comfortable and air conditioned classrooms, cafeteria, student lounge with pool table, carom and other indoor games as well as swimming pool and basketball court. Personal student counsellors are appointed for each student to guide them in solving various matters and to discuss any special requirements.

The HND programme is available for Sri Lankan students at a special discounted rate from ACHE as an introductory offer. Massive discounts will be provided for students who are capable of paying the total course fee in advance. The lectures are specially designed according to Edexcel standards with text books recommended by Edexcel and the progress of the students will be measured through assignments. Additional training will be given to students with special needs in English, writing assignments and personality development.
