Funday Times

To the Editor

I’m thanking the Funday Times and the Sunday Times for giving me the opportunity to write to Funday Times as a writer and a kid reporter.

I’ve started writing to the Funday times since I was 12. Only two years; but in these two years I’ve won many things and my articles have been published many times. I remember my first article was about Lady Birds.

My favourite prize that I won from the Funday Times was the Tomahawk bike. Actually it was one of my wishes to buy a really cool bike and the Funday Times made it possible.

My favourite food is pizza and I was rewarded pizza coupons many times thanks to Funday Times, which made my childhood yummy. But I’m turning 14 on October fourteenth this year and I am terribly sad that I can not engage in writing to Funday Times. But I will never stop reading the newspaper.

I’m very happy to say that a newspaper has filled my childhood with happiness and my Funday will always be Sunday, since my favourite newspaper arrives which is the Funday Times.

Editor’s note: Ranaba, you can continue writing until you turn 15.

From Editor

Thank you readers, for the feedback we received from you about what you like best in Funday Times and your suggestions of what you would like to have.

We would like to include everything you like to have in Funday Times but as you can see space is restricted, as we have to put in all we can on 16 pages. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you more pages right now, as many of you have asked for. However, we are endeavouring to increase the number of pages as soon as it is possible. Then we will put in more of what you want.

Please continue to read the Funday Times and send in your ideas and suggestions and we will do our best to give you what you like, as it is your paper.

Some of you have asked us to extend the age group for Funday up to 16 years. We will think this over and see what we can do. In the meantime, we do have a magazine to suit the older teenagers, the Mirror Magazine. I am sure you will find it fun.
