Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Rain drops
By Anam Ashfaq (10 years), Ladies’ College

Drops of rain, drops of rain,
Falling on the window pane,
Pitter patter, pitter patter,
Down they fall again.

Birds fly to their nests,
People run for their best,
Mud puddles everywhere,
Cars splash, as they don’t care.

Animals look for shelter,
Insects run helter skelter,
Children don’t get to play,
For it’s a rainy day.

Rain can turn into a storm,
Rain can cause floods,
Rain can bring trouble,
To everyone of us.
