New Zealand: Exploring vistas in Higher Education

Prospective students will discover a plethora of opportunities as Education New Zealand plays host to the New Zealand Education Fair in September. This annual event, which serves as a showcase of New Zealand's educational opportunities in the high standards of tertiary education available, promises visitors an insight into this welcoming, inventive and trusted educational destination.

Those aspiring to engage in higher education overseas will have the opportunity to discover exactly why New Zealand has emerged as the hot new destination in the educational landscape. The New Zealand Education Fair on Saturday September 18, at the Main Ball Room, Hilton Colombo from 11 AM - 5 PM, will feature ten institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and four Private Training Establishments.

Robert Stevens, CEO of Education New Zealand commenting on the potential that lies ahead said, "For a small country, New Zealand offers a surprisingly wide range of subjects and courses in tertiary education.

We Have eight top quality Universities and twenty Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) that focus on practical, skills- oriented training in areas like hospitality & tourism, design, computers, nursing, fashion and many others.

Our Private Training Establishments are all quality controlled so students can be confident that their qualifications will be recognized" With its spectacular sceneries and natural resources, New Zealand is ready to welcome those who wish to balance work and play, with lively and adventurous activities, complemented by a supportive and extremely personal academic environment.

Adding further Robert Stevens stated, "Adjusting to a new country takes time, so students shouldn't expect it to be easy right away. They should take advantage of the excellent student support services offered by New Zealand institutions, which can help with important things like finding somewhere to live, opening a bank account and other common day to day necessities."

Discover more at the New Zealand Education Fair where visitors are sure to be impressed by the high levels of personal attention and world-class academic staff and facilities that will contribute to making New Zealand your next destination for an enriching experience that transcends the value of the education received.
