Singapore Informatics awarded CISI training provider status

The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) has confirmed Singapore Informatics, as its training provider for Sri Lanka, said a press release from the CISI. The partnership was announced at a launch on August 31. Singapore Informatics’ first comprehensive accredited training programme for Sri Lanka, for the CISI qualifications, will be rolled out in October 2010.

The accreditation confirms that Singapore Informatics Computer Institute (Pvt) Ltd. will be CISI’s first comprehensive accredited training provider in Sri Lanka to train for a number of CISI qualifications, said CISI.

These qualifications include the International Certificate in Wealth Management (ICWM), the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ), International Introduction to Securities and Investment, the Risk in Financial Services Qualification, IT on International Operations (ITIO), Global Security Operations (GSO) and Operational Risk Asset Servicing.

Based in the London, CISI is a global organisation with representative offices in financial centres such as Dublin, Singapore, Dubai and Mumbai. It works closely in cooperation with regulators, firms and other professional bodies worldwide. The Institute was granted a Royal Charter in 2009. Singapore Informatics is a member of Informatics Education Ltd. which is listed in the Singapore stock exchange.
