On Wednesday July 21, Gateway Graduate School and La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia, signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding for Gateway students to progress to degrees at La Trobe. La Trobe is a leading teaching and research university, ranked in the top 100 international universities in some areas and 12th in Australia.
Yohan Senarath of Colombo International School was recently awarded a place in the Global Scholars’ Programme at Clark University. As part of the programme Yohan will be receiving a $28,000 annual scholarship for a period of four years, an additional $2,500 stipend for an internship during his sophomore or junior year and participation in the Global Scholars’ Mentor Programme, including a semi-annual dinner hosted by Dr. John Bassett, President of Clark University.
