She's famous for the TV series 'Hannah Montana'. And she played a major role called 'Ronnie' in the movie 'The Last Song'. She has created many albums such as 'Start all Over', 'Can't be Tamed'.

Justin Bieber was born on March 1, in Canada to Pattie and Jeremy Bieber. He loves RNB and Pop music. He has sung some songs with Usher, Ludacris and Sean Kingston. He has written many songs such as 'Baby', 'Never Let You Go', 'Never Say Never', 'One Time', 'Love Me', 'Eenie Meenie', 'One Less Lonely Girl' etc.

Taylor Swift, whose middle name is Alison is my first favourite singer. I always save the best for the last. She sings 'Fifteen', 'Love Story', 'Tear Drops On My Guitar', 'White Horse', etc. She also completed her album 'Fearless', which is one of my favourites. I like my favourite singers a lot and wish to be like them one day.

A friend in need is a friend indeed

Friends are gifts from God. A friend is someone who will be by you in trouble or in joy. True friendship makes our lives livable and lovable. A sincere true friend will never fail to help you in
dangerous situations or in grief.

We can have friends only if we are willing to give our life for them. Selfishness can never make or keep friends. Friendships we make must be cultivated in love and gentleness. Acts of service and grace that are unselfish, thoughtful, gentle, helpful and patient is the real true friendship.

Happiness depends on the choice of a good, true and faithful friend. The blessing of friendship implies mutual helpfulness. Friendship knows no limit to service, yours is to serve and not to be served. Friendship should be full of sympathy and understanding.

We should accept friendship that will bring blessings to our lives, enrich our character to be better and holier. It is a great luck to have such a good faithful friend, whose influence will be a lasting benediction or divine blessing. To have a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Dinosaurs

There are many kinds of dinosaurs. There are raptor, big ones and very small ones. Dinosaurs lived on Earth many years ago. There were three types of dinosaurs. Carnivores were eating meat and herbivores were eating plants. There were omnivores who ate both. There is a nice movie called 'Jurassic Park' produced by Steven Spielberg on June 11, 1993. I like dinosaurs.

Road constructions in Sri Lanka

There are many road construction projects taking place by the government in Sri Lanka to develop the country. These development projects have been commenced for the benefit of the people in the
country. The main outcomes of constructing roads are:

• Traffic jams and daily accidents will be decreased.
• Foreigners will come to our country and start their enterprises. Then we can earn foreign exchange. They will also invest their money to start companies in our country.
• People will be able to go to their departure quickly. Then they can save fuel and time.
• By developing roads in rural areas the living standard of people will be increased.

When we consider the above benefits we can realize how important constructing roads is. Because of these reasons the government has commenced constructing highways also. At the present, many highways are in the process of construction, for example the highway of Katunayake to Matara is being constructed.

For building these highways, the president has taken help and donations from foreign countries like China and Japan. I hope our country will be developed soon, with these road constructions.

If I were a clock

If I were a clock I would want to be an alarm clock; a medium size alarm clock with a little bell on top. I'd like to be blue in colour. I'd like both arrows to be in black, the bell in silver, and no designs on it.

I want to be an alarm clock because I'd like to be my father's alarm clock. I could wake my father up every morning. That's why I like to be an alarm clock.
