The Revlon Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2010 pageant got underway on Sunday, June 6 at the Hilton Colombo Residence with 85 entries being received of which 45 were selected for this preliminary round.
After some stringent interviews, the final 12 who will be vying for the crown of Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2010 were chosen. The judges Graham Hatch, Dila Hettiarachchi, Rosita Wickremesinghe, Natasha Jayasuriya and Prashanth Subramanium had a difficult task this year, with a whole host of beautiful candidates to select from.
All 45 preliminary candidates received exclusive Revlon Gift packs courtesy Revlon Lanka. The official radio partner TNL Rocks and Lite FM provided live updates of the event together with interviews with the judges. The selected twelve will now undergo a rigorous training period that will include physical fitness instruction, makeovers, and workshops in effective communication and social etiquette.
There will also be several mini-pageants including Miss Photogenic and Miss Personality, Revlon Miss Beautiful Skin and hair as well as a visit to Triumph. |
