Malaysian feast at the Cinnamon Grand

The best of Malaysian cuisine and cultural show will come alive at the Cinnamon Grand’s Malaysian Food Festival from the 9 - 20 June. The promotion will offer the multicultural delights of Malaysian cuisine in over 45 dishes during the dinner time at the hotel’s newest restaurant, Serendib.

The promotion, conducted in association with Malaysian Airlines, will showcase the best of Malaysian food with its exotic cuisine range in a combination of textures, tastes and colour. Guests can sample soups, salads, rice, noodles, popular Malaysian seafood, meats, vegetables as well as a range of unique dishes prepared by the two chefs using traditional Malaysian recipes.

The menu’s soups include Malaysian mixed vegetable soup and Seafood soup served with fried shallot, spring onion & Chinese celery. Starters range from Deep fried mashed potato and chicken meat, Grilled marinated chicken, mutton and beef satay to Marinated spicy turmeric fried chicken wings melur style, Steamed minced fish with spices and lots more.

For those who prefer a heavier staple, the rice and noodle selection leaves no room for complaints with Nasi goreng, Char kuay teow and Malaysian noodles on offer. Main dishes range from Malaysian chicken curry, Slow cooked chicken in spices, Prawns cooked in chilli sambal sauce to Malay spiced coconut beef, Grilled seafood served with soya sauce onion and sliced chilli, Spicy Squid curry cooked in chilli and belchan, Seasonal vegetables stir fry with ginger and garlic and lots more
At just Rs. 1250/-+++, here’s an opportunity to savour authentic Malaysian fare prepared by the two specialty Malaysian chefs, Chef Hapizi Hussain and Chef Rosnan Isa.
