The Knowledge Conglomerate offers Internship Challenge

The Knowledge Conglomerate (TKC) is offering young graduates in Sri Lanka a unique internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience in setting up a new knowledge based business.
TKC, an associate of MTI Consulting is intent on launching a multitude of knowledge-based ventures in Sri Lanka. A press release stated that given the expected economic upturn in Sri Lanka and the global growth of the knowledge based businesses, TKC will be positioned for high growth prospects.

According to the press release, the young graduates selected for this Venture Start-up Internship Challenge will each be assigned a business of TKC and will require a strong desire for on-the-job learning in setting up a new venture. The internship period of six to twelve months will be considered as an on-the-job training opportunity for the selected graduates.

Over a period of 3 years, starting April 2010, TKC plans to evaluate the feasibility and launch knowledge-based ventures in domains such as Market Research, Technology, Investment Research, Education, Marketing Communications, Event Management, and Business Magazines to name a few including joint ventures and strategic alliances.
