The Pied Piper

The Young Learners' Drama Club of the British Council Kandy held their public performance of
'The Pied Piper' at the Trinity College Primary Hall on Sunday March 7. The play was directed and choreographed by Mrs. Lalitha Gunawardane.

Nick Kendall, the Branch Manager of British Council and Mr. Ananda Marasinghe Headmaster of the Trinity College Primary School attended this performance.

In his address, Nick pointed out the importance of supporting the talent of the Kandy youth by giving them an opportunity to perform on stage at a very young age.

All participants received gifts whilst Shaheed Sabrith and Sanduni Herath received awards for best actor and best actress at the end of the performance.
