Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Ice-cream
By Brenn Anandage (10 years), St. Joseph's College

Who invented ice-cream?
I'd like to know.
Was it made of water?
Or was it made of snow?

I'd like to thank the person
Who did such a great thing.
If he was here now,
I'd have made him king.

Ice-cream is a miracle,
On really hot days,
It cools us up,
In many different ways.

So if you ever see a man,
Who is selling ice-cream,
Go near your mummy,
And scream, "Ice-cream."
