Inter-school Quiz Contest National Finals
Organized by Lions Clubs International Multiple District 306

This is a competition that was conducted in all schools throughout the island extending from Pt. Pedro to Tangalle 360 schools in all three languages joined in the first round with 2100 students participating in over 50 centers.

The second round of the contest was held at District level and was conducted in 6 centers for the 6 Lions districts. The centers were in Colombo, Kalutara, Kandy, Kurunegala, Negombo and Wattala.
The Schools which scored the highest marks were selected for the National Level Finals.

This National Level contest is scheduled to be held in Colombo at Royal College on 23rd January 2010.
5 schools from each Lions District will participate with a total of 30 schools with 150 schools. The competition will be in Sinhala and Tamil Media.

The chief guest at this occasion will be the Past International President of the International Association of Lions Clubs Lion Mahendra Amarasuriya MJF, with two Guests of Honor Mr. Jagath Alwis the Chairman of the ICBT Campus Education Group and Lion Dr. C. J. Ian, The Multiple council chairman of the Lions Multiple District 306 in Sri Lanka .

District Governors past council Chairman with many other Lion dignitaries are expected to be present at this occasion. The competition will begin at 10 a.m on 23rd of January 2010 at the Royal College Main Hall - Colombo.
