Interaction, an event eagerly looked forward to in the calendar of the Interact movement could be regarded as the biggest celebration of youth culture in Sri Lanka. Organized by the Interact District 3220, this major sports festival is organized to inculcate friendship and fellowship in the youth.
Based on the theme, “Dream it, believe it and achieve it” Interaction 2010 will be organized in 3 phases. The event will be held on the 23 January at the Racecourse grounds, on 30th of January at Excel World, and on 7th February at the British School in Colombo. Here, the participants will compete in a range of indoor and outdoor games, consisting of popular activities such as cricket, basketball, urban challenges and bowling, to name a few.
For the very first time, the Interactors will organize a carnival, putting up stalls to showcase the variety of cultures, from an array of countries.
To top it all off, the project will end on a high note: a grand closing ceremony as well as a musical concert with a number of popular bands and dance troupes.
The main objective of this project is to bring together the youth from around the country, and to display their spirit in all its energy and embed passion. Join us, as we embark on this journey to dream, believe and achieve.
