The honored designers where Eric Suriyasena, Michael Wijesuriya, Kirthi Sri Karunaratne, Sharmini De Silva, Yoland Aluvihare, Senaka De Silva, Chrysanthi Fernandopulle and Lou Ching Wong.
In addition to honouring the above professionals the event also introduced eleven new promising fashion designers, carefully hand picked by an eminent panel, in the Fashion Designer of the Year Contest.

The collections showcased by them included resort wear for women, office wear for women, casual wear for men, fusion/ethnic wear for women and evening wear for women.
