Namel Weeramuni’s popular theatrical production “Nattukkari” will go on the boards on September 10 at Elphinstone Theatre at 3.30 and 6.30 p.m.
The play is a theatrical treat with a host of actors and actresses is about an aging actress who controlled the entire world theatre including writers, producers and all the others of the profession.
The cast is comprised of Malini Weeramuni, Daya Tennakoon, Ruwan Wickramasinhge, Suranganie Kosala, Sanet Dikkumbura, Anusha Dissanayake, Anil Wijesinghe, Janaka Mawella, Senevirathne Bandara, Tarindu Madhusanka and T. L. Samantha.
Stage management is by T. L. Samantha and Chamal Mallawaarachchi, costumes designed by Malini Weeramuni and stage lighting by Pabath Manohara. Music is by Jayatissa Alahakoon and the play is organized by Jude Srimal.
