S. Thomas’ advance to the quarters
Under 17 Cricket

S. Thomas’ Mt Lavinia recorded a 37 runs win over Dharmapala in their pre-quarter final to advance to the quarter finals of the Under 17 Division One cricket tournament.

The match curtailed to 33 overs which was played at Pannipitiya yesterday saw the Thomians taking first lease of the wicket helped two fine knocks by Kavindu Perera and Anuja Fernando end their making a modest 161.

Dharmapala in their run chase were unable to make any headway being able to muster only 124.
