Recently I went to the post office to send a letter under registered cover. I was given a tiny form to fill up. On the counterfoil there was only the letter registration number and the date. The printed form was marked “P.O.J.2”.
In the past, a “Registered Postal Article Receipt” was printed in all three languages and indicated in detail the name and address of the sender; the name and address of the addressee and the registration fee. These receipts could be filed for record and future reference.
Will the Minister of Posts please be good enough to revert to the old receipt format?
