Copyline clients take away 16 awards at Annual Report contest

 

Design and publishing firm Copyline dazzled when several of its clients walked away with 16 awards at the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICASL) Annual Report Awards 2008 last week. These awards recognise and honour organisations who have achieved excellence in annual reporting of activities for the last financial year, the company said.

Copyline's clients were ‘Silver’ for the best report - Union Assurance while ‘Gold’ for sectors – Union Assurance (insurance),United Motors (motor), People's Leasing Co. Ltd (leasing) and Union Assurance (Management Commentary).

Silver was clinched by SriLankan Airlines (services), Senkadagala Finance Co (finance), dapussellawa Plantations (plantations) and Union Assurance (CSR reporting).

Copyline clients who won a bronze were John Keells PLC (diversified holdings up to 5 subsidiaries), People's Merchant Bank (financial institutions), Hayleys Advantis (services), LB Finance (finance companies), Hapugastenne Plantations (plantations) and Union Assurance (corporate governance disclosure). Certificates of recognition were given to Janashakthi Insurance (insurance).

"We would like to congratulate Union Assurance for winning a silver award for Best Annual Report and all our other clients who have been honoured for their excellence in annual reporting," Keith Blom, Chief Executive Officer of Copyline, said in the press release.
