Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Dolphins
By Shameema Aroos (14+ years), Bishop's College

Of all the aquatic creatures,
These dolphins have special features,
They have an acute eyesight,
And they swim twenty miles, so wide.

They have a smooth and slim body posture,
Their friendly attitude and seeming playfulness,
Have made them popular in human culture.

The dolphin habitat is gradually decreasing,
Because of human and natural threats,
But as we know these adorable pets,
Are the most friendly creatures from the rest.

They mostly feed on fish and squid,
Unlike other aquatic mammals they aren't big,
And they also don't hurt people like sharks,
They are such innocent species I remark!
