Recreation redefined at the Taj Airport Garden Hotel

The Taj Airport Garden Hotel has just launched a series of wide ranging recreational activities to give its large number of Sri Lankan and foreign guests a more all-round experience and spice up their daily routine.

General Manager of the Hotel Sanjay Singh said, ‘Our guests range from busy business travellers and numerous stay-over and turn-around airline crews, to a significant number of expatriates working in the Free Trade Zone. Added to this of course, is the very large number of Sri Lankans in the Negombo and neighbouring areas. These new facilities will no doubt enhance their experience at the Hotel and contribute to a healthier life style’.

Yoga sessions are conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning at the 'Harbour Bar' located by the scenic Negombo Lagoon where 'Guru' Rodrigo teaches the art of meditation and de-stressing. ‘Water Sport is the latest inclusion to the variety. Taking full advantage of the Negombo lagoon which literally merges with the hotel property, a series of water sports are now available at the 'Aqua Sports Club'. Among them are windsurfing, canoeing, sailing laser and boat cruises with our team of trained aquatic staff well versed in all required safety precautions’, Singh added.

The hotel's state-of-the-art gymnasium is equipped with a variety of strength training and cardiovascular PRECOR, Life Fitness and Universal fitness equipment thus providing resident and member guests a unique experience of fitness training with a personalised touch.

TAGH has just unveiled a series of exciting promotions for the month of July catering to the tastes and preferences of different people and of all ages. The Sunday Lunch Buffet at the scenic Harbour Bar, BBQ Nite every Tuesday at the Society 24/24 Coffee, Kebab Magic every Wednesday are some of the attractions.
