Bollywood films for the festive season

Two famous Hindi films 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'Tara Rum Pum' will be shown during the Sinhala New Year Festival. Written and directed by Karan Johar 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in the lead. It will be shown on Friday April 12 at 10 pm.

The story revolves around the Raichand family, the business man Yashovardhan (Amitabh Bachchan), his wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan), adopted son Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), younger son Rohan (Hrithik Roshan). A rich and happy family with everything going for them, the problems start when Rahul falls in love with a Punjabi girl Anjali (Kajol) from a middle class family.

'Tara rum pum' stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee. Written and directed by Siddharth Anand it will be telecast at 10 pm on April 13. Set in New York, the film tells the story of Rajveer Singh (Saif Ali Khan), his wife Radhika (Rani Mukherjee) and their two kids Champ (Ali Haji) and Princess (Angelina Idnani).

Yash Raj Films' latest presentation 'Tara Rum Pum' is the story of a happy family and how the family overcomes the hurdles put in its way by a fateful incident.
