Holiday on the beach with Ocean View Resorts

Villa Ocean View, Wadduwa and Induruwa Beach Resort in Bentota are two much sought after properties on the southern coastal belt. Both properties share the lure of the waves crashing against the shoreline and both are noted for their accessibility. Similarly, both properties are owned and managed by Ocean View Resorts a subsidiary of Sri Lankan conglomerate Ceylon Shipping Lines.

After a facelift given recently to Induruwa Beach Resort, its popularity and demands are increasing rapidly particularly among Sri Lankans and expatriates. It is ideal for a family holiday or someone looking for a tropical getaway.

A tropical hideout for a dream holiday, and the hotel located along the coastal belt, nestled amongst lush green coconut groves and a breath taking expanse of an unspoilt beach. The hotel comprises of 90 rooms of which six are suites. All rooms are with private balconies or patios with plush comforts and pleasing interiors equipped with modern star class amenities such as individually controlled air-conditioning, channelled music, satellite TV, IDD, hot/cold shower and 24 hours room service.

All suites have spacious living rooms and pantries with tea/coffee making facilities added to the already mentioned conveniences, Business Development Manager, Ranjaka De Mel said. The hotel's two restaurants offer a wide range of cuisine and different types of exotic juices. Newly refurbished and upgraded with new furniture and several additions; its cabanas which were always a firm favourite for guests who opted for individual units now have increased privacy and the sound of the sea almost at their doorstep. These cabanas have been upgraded and are now renamed 'Villas'.
