‘Susara Gee’ from Ceylinco

'Susara Gee' a collection of songs sung by those working in the Ceylinco Group of companies was launched recently. In the new songs by twenty one talented singers, the compact disc is produced by Ceylinco Group Library, a member Ceylinco Consolidated.

This concept by Ceylinco chairman Dr. Lalith Kotelawela in releasing the CD was to put forward the talents of amateur singers who are working in different companies under him. The singers who made the debut in 'Susara Gee' are Nirmala Gamage, Dilki Fernando, Tharanga Amunugama, Amala Wasundara, Janaka Lakmal, Roshel Pathirana, Nishantha Tharupraba, Achala Weeraratne, Tharanga.

Amunugama, Anushka Kodituwakku, Geeth Abeynayake, Ajith Premalal, Sanath Neelamuni, Sanjeewa Weerasekera, Nandana Sinhalage, Prabhash Sumanapala, Sumith Premasiri, Weerakone Bandara, Shelton Delpechitra, Jude Thilanga and Indika Kumarasinghe.

The lyrics are written by the country's leading lyricists like Ven Rambukkana Siddartha Thera, Bandula Nanayakkarawasam, Saman Chandranath Weerasinghe, Yamuna Malanee Perera, Sunil Dayananda Konara, Bandara Eheliyagoda, Nilar N. Cassim, Kelum Srimal, Chaaminda Rathnasuriya, Vishaka Wehella, Ananda Hewaranhindage, Padmakumara Mettasena, Visharadha Upul Perera and Deltota Chandrapala.

The music composers who contributed for the collection are Rohana Weerasinghe, H. M. Jayawardena, Tissasiri Perera, Tharupathi Munasinghe, Mahinda Bandara, Kasun Kalhara Jayawardena, Sarath de Alwis, Karunaratne Wijeywardena, Janaka Fonseka, Sunil Dayananda Konara, Suresh Maliyadda, Nihal Gamhewa, D.
