All Breed Championship Dog shows

The Kennel Association of Sri Lanka will hold its 70th and 71st All Breed Championship Dog Shows on Sunday, March 30 at the Sathutu Uyana. The shows will be held back to back. Twenty two different breeds have been entered and a class for junior handlers and champion dogs will also be held.

The 70th show will be judged by Mariko Harase from Japan, a qualified all-breeds judge, who has adjudicated in shows all over the world. She is a breeder of Golden Retrievers, Shitzus and other small breeds.

Officiating at the 71st show will be Indian judge Partha Sekhar Chatterjee, an all- breeds judge from 1986, who has judged in many Asian countries and New Zealand. He has bred Great Danes, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds etc and also small breeds like Daschunds. Judging starts at 9 a.m. and the Kennel Association invites the public to enjoy seeing their favourite dog breeds.
