Warrant again on doctor

Kandy double killing

A warrant has been issued by High Court (1) Judge D.S.C.Lekamwasam for the arrest of the Russian trained doctor who is absconding court where an indictment has been served on him for the alleged murder of his wife and his daughter.

The accused doctor S.P. Pathirage has been absconding for some time and warrants had been issued for his arrest by former Kandy High Court (2) Judge Nalin Perera and also by former Kandy High Court (2) Judge Kumudini Wickramasinghe. The accused was not present in court when the case was taken up on January 14.
