Nine months after the evergreen Cliff Richard vowed his Sri Lankan fans with his own hit parade, a bitter dispute has broken out between two of those responsible for bringing the British star to Colombo.
Ranjit Vethakan, who facilitated the Cliff Richard concert in February, claims local organiser Damayantha Kuruppu has not kept his part of the deal between them.
Taj Airport Garden Hotel, Seeduwa recently unveiled a series of festivities for the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holiday season. Its affable General Manager Sanjay Singh said that celebrations will commence with the special Christmas "Gingerbread House" in the Hotel lobby and also at the Drive-In in front of the hotel on the main Colombo-Negombo road on Monday, December 10.
‘Sambudud Pahasa’ depicting the great teachings of Lord Buddha; ‘Maithree’, ‘Karuna’, ‘Muditha’ and ‘Upekkkha’ is a unique tele production. The telefilm becomes exceptional not because of its theme, storyline or presentation but due to the people involved in it.
