HNB School sixes today

Hatton National Bank (HNB) for the 2nd consecutive year will conduct a school six a side cricket tournament involving leading schools in Colombo to be played at the St. Peter’s College grounds on Sunday 25th November 2007.

According to Kumar Dharmasena, Manager Public relations of HNB and Chairman of the Organizing committee, the tournament will be played on a knockout basis with eight teams -- St. Peter’s, Wesley, S. Thomas, Ananda, Lumbini, Isipathana, D.S. Senanayake and Hindu College participating.

The first match will get underway at 9.00 am. The winners of the tournament will receive a trophy and a cash award or Rs. 50,000 while the runner up will be entitled to Rs. 25,000.
