Walk into a tropical wonderland

This December, in the midst of tropical hues of blue and green; in a garden filled with parrots, peacocks and butterflies, the shopper at ODEL will find a sultry Christmas paradise. ODEL has been transformed into an exotic land of fantasy; with brightly coloured, bejewelled and sequined tropical creatures in line with their Christmas theme for 2007, 'Paradise Found’.

Why 'Paradise Found' you may wonder…. Otara Gunewardena, Chief Executive Officer, ODEL explains: "Paradise found for many reasons. Everyone has their own version of what paradise is and at ODEL this year everyone is bound to find their paradise in some part of the store. We wanted to promote Sri Lanka to the foreign visitors this season and everyone can take a bit of paradise back home with them. Also to celebrate the colours and wonders of nature. The amazing vibrant colours of the flowers and birds and butterflies which we all tend to often miss in our busy lives."

In terms of shopping, ODEL has a new range of accessories, clothing, food items, gifts, home furnishing and most essentially, a matchless range of Christmas décor - white feathered and blue sequined wreaths and blue and green sequined tinsel balls as well as parrots, butterflies and peacocks in line with the store's theme.
