Urban school gifts to rural students

Sanghamitta College, Galle hosted a three-day programme in support of Panama MV to further the project launched by the Education Ministry to develop schools in rural areas with the support of National Schools.

67 students of Panama MV, its Vice Principal and 4 teachers had visited Sanghamitta College on November 15 when the students and staff of the latter school had presented a TV, a DVD player, books to start a library and other school equipment, to the students of Panama MV.

Sanghamitta College Principal Saraswathi Dahanayake, the Vice Principal and teachers had organized the event.
