The 14th Annual CIMA Students’ Conference will be held on October 16, 2007 which centers around the theme of fine tuning one’s professionalism – More specifically on how to tune in to your employer’s measure of the concept! With today’s young executives in mind, the conference aims to address the issues they face as they seek to rise up through the ranks and progress with their careers.

What do they need to go that extra mile? To become truly professional? To set themselves apart from the rest? In this truly competitive and dynamic environment, the quest is always on for continuous improvement.

A panel, drawn from leaders in Sri Lanka’s business sector will discuss the presentations made, to give analysis and share their views on the same. The aim of the panel sessions would be to stimulate critical thinking among the target audience, while inviting feedback from them, as well.

The path to professionalism will be laid on the 16th of October 2007 at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and will be followed by a networking lunch. The CIMA Student’s Society invites you to learn from the experiences of these eminent personalities to take away invaluable lessons, in the quest to become truly professional.
