No more ‘Blue Elephant’  
The curtains will come down on Blue Elephant, 'the night pulse of Colombo' on 21 April with a grand three day closing down bash at the Hilton.The Blue, which is almost 20 years of age, will close its doors forever with a grand cocktail and three days of partying on 19, 20 and 21 April featuring all top Blue DJs.
 
HUT shuts too
'The Hut', one of the oldest and most popular and night clubs in town, closes its doors for revelers from today, 15 April. The date of reopening is undecided, but the management says the night club will be back in time for the December Festive season.
 
‘TV Around the World’ stops at Lanka
‘TV Around the World' a popular TV programme telecast on the prestigious French-German based cultural TV channel 'Arte' in Europe spotlighted Sri Lanka as their latest destination. The TV channel dedicates its programme to the arts, culture, documentaries and public affairs and the series 'Toutes les télés du monde' (the French title for the programme) depicts the country through its television.
