Big hand to ‘Clean Hands’

The ‘Daily Mirror’ of 21/03/07 reports that a group of high public officials have set up an alliance under the banner of ‘Clean Hands’ to fight against all forms of corruption and mismanagement in the public sector. The public would, no doubt, appreciate and commend them for their bold move.

It is assumed that only a small percentage of the public officials is up to misdeeds and the majority is duty and civic conscious. Therefore, it is hoped that this organization would inspire all like-minded public officers, from the highest to the lowest, to join it and extend their unstinting support and cooperation in its endeavour, so that it could have enough courage and strength to stand unitedly and firmly up to undue pressure from any quarters – political or commercial.
