King Guhasiva entrusts Lord Buddha's sacred Tooth Relic to his daughter Hemamali

The children of the London Buddhist Vihara Dhamma School enacted a play on Rahula Day, April 1, 2007

The king receives the sacred Tooth Relic

The story begins in India, where the Lord Buddha's sacred Tooth Relic was kept. King Guhasiva becomes concerned about the safety of the sacred Relic and instructs his daughter Hemamali and her husband Dhanta Kumar to take the Tooth Relic to King Kirthi Sri Megavanna in Lanka to ensure its safety.

The play was written, directed and produced by Ishan Perusinghe and Nirmani Indraratna.

The Tooth Relic is finally brought to Kandy
