All good things must end, says Arjuna

Former Sri Lanka skipper Arjuna Ranatunge who had a rather estranged relationship with Australian spinner Shane Warne came out with this statement on the latter’s announcement of retirement. Ranatunge said: “Warne was a good competitor as well as a good entertainer. However every good thing must come to an end.”

Commenting on Warne’s bowling where he has collected 698 Test wickets so far, Ranatunge commented: “As far as I am concerned I never had a problem with his bowling even while I was playing with a broken finger in Australia”.
