Hassim and Silva bag doubles sculls

Daasim Hassim and Thushan Silva won the Colvin Sirimanne Doubles Sculls at the Final Regatta of the Year at the Colombo Rowing Club (CRC) held at the Beira Lake yesterday.

It was a fitting ending to the year’s rowing events of the Colombo Rowing Club with the President of the CRC giving away the trophies.

Yesterday’s results are as follows:

Harry Creasy Men’s Fours: Gayajith Dassanayake, Anushan Selvarajah, Manoharan Nirosha ,Udesh Hettiarachchi and Sharer Kannangara.

Ladies Plate Senior Women’s Fours: Thushya Lenaduwa, Angeline Madawela, Tharani Jayawardena, Amayya Jayasuriya and Khaythi Wickremarachchi.

Colvin Sirimanne Doubles Sculls: Daasim Hassim,Thushan Silva.
