Cornucopia launches Executive Search Services

HR Cornucopia Asia the Bangalore based HR company said last week it plans to become a Human Resource consulting firm with a difference in Sri Lanka by providing people centric business solutions that are simple, and cost effective. Cornucopia hopes to offer its regional Senior Executive Search services locally from January 2007.

Dinesh Weerakkody who represents Cornucopia in Sri Lanka says so far the company has focused more on HR consulting and avoided a full-scale placement or executive search service. “Our clients believe that this is one area where they need quality professional help.” According to Weerakkody the executive search service will be offered with a difference. The “difference” would be reflected in many ways in their search service they hope to offer.

Cornucopia says the Senior Executive Search Services is designed to ensure that -- all local or foreign candidates will not be sent to a client till they have assessed the candidate’s suitability for the role; will not flood a company with CVs.

The screening process that the candidate has to undergo with Cornucopia will ensure that a company does not have more than three or four candidates to interview for any single position; Cornucopia will offer advice on the suitability of the position in a client’s organization if it becomes necessary i.e. if after our internal screening process, we have candidates(s) who may have to be placed higher or lower than planned, based on the background or potential respectively.

“We shall discuss the situation with the client and suggest a solution in the best interests of the client,” Weerakkody said.
