Exhibition & sale by Chitra Lane School

'People Like You and Me', an exhibition and sale by the Chitra Lane School for the Special Child will be held on November 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. at the Chitra Lane School gymnasium.

The Chitra Lane School founded in 1967 is a special place for special people empowering children and young adults with special needs to achieve their fullest potential, to lead independent and productive lives in society. This is an attempt to share their capabilities and public support is needed to encourage them in their efforts.

Bera Handa at Punchi theatre

The Peradeniya Sarasavi Mithuro presents 'Bera Handa' at the Punchi theatre, Borella today, November 12, at 6 p.m. to raise funds for its welfare activities.

Bera Handa written by Bandula Jayewardena is produced by Luxmi Damayanthi. The cast comprises Luxmi Damayanthi, Sarath Kotalawala, Richard Manamudali and Sudarshana Bandara.

Mahanama College Old Boys’ Assoiciation presents Sando Harris's "Cheerio Sergeant" (2) today, Sunday, November 12, at Moravila Central, Galle at 3.30 and 6.30 p.m. The cast comprises Sando Harris, Malani Asoka Deashan Amarasinge, Miliuda Perera, Damitha Saluwadana and Soma Chandra. Make up is by Sarath Ranaweera and Lights - Nisantha Kumara. The play is produced and directed by Sando Harris.
