HNB CEO attends ABA technical session in Taipei

ABAcelebrated its 25th anniversary with this year’s convention attracting over 200 senior bankers from South East/ East Asia

Rajendra Theagarajah, Managing Director of Hatton National Bank, chaired the technical session on financial sector reforms, at the Asian Banks Association’s (ABA), annual convention in Taipei recently. The ABA which consists of members from some 120 leading banks in the Asia Pacific region celebrated its 25th anniversary with this year’s convention attracting over 200 senior bankers from South East/ East Asia, HNB said in a statement.

The technical sessions were divided into four plenary sessions on themes such as financial sector reforms, macro economic challenges for the next decade, and opportunities in emerging financial markets and regional financial integration.
