Seminar on Sri Lanka’s proposed expressways

The Chamber of Construction Industry is hosting a seminar this month on proposed expressways in Sri Lanka to enhance awareness on expressway construction and financial structuring of expressway construction.

As Sri Lanka lack hands on experience in expressway construction, the chamber has obtained the services of a distinguished panel of international experts on the subject of Expressways with the assistance of the Chairman, Road Development Authority M.B.S. Fernando.

The seminar will be addressed by Hardeepak Singh, an ADB consultant, Prof. Partha Mukhopadhyay from Feedback Ventures Ltd, Dr. Tatsuo Takano from JICA, Juha Kosonen from Finnroad and Dr. Vivian Robert from Scott Wilson.

Pushpa Gunaratne, Project Director of Road Development Authority will enlighten the participants on “Colombo / Katunayake Expressway – Problems & What Next ?” Chairman of the Road Development Authority M.B.S. Fernando will deliver the Keynote address.
