Total solutions – solar/LPG – from Shell

Shell Solar Lanka, which started operations in 1999 providing solar electricity systems primarily to un-electrified rural households in Sri Lanka, is offering a new solution to consumers.

Partnering with Shell Gas Lanka Ltd., Shell Solar Lanka is offering a ‘Total Cooking Solution’ which includes a 2.3 kg Shell Gas cylinder, a Shell recommended regulator, hose and clips together with a single burner gas cooker with every medium range solar home system purchased.

“Hence, not only does Shell Solar light up the home, but introduces a convenient lifestyle to the rural home-maker!

Armed with more than one hundred qualified technicians operating through a powerful network of 17 branches across the island, the company projects this special offer would attract more customers to look into the feasibility of alternate power thus easing the burden on the national grid,” the company said.

The main purpose of this offer is to enhance Shell’s presence in households. From September onwards, any customer who bought a Shell Solar System would have the luxury of lights brightening their living room, dining, bedroom and garden plus provide power to their TV and Radio.
