Japanese beauties at Sri Lanka tourism promotion

The Ceylon Tea Queen and the first two runners- up will be flown to Sri Lanka by courtesy of Srilankan Airlines and LK Holidays on a week’s holiday.

Over 50 Japanese women have signed up for the mega beauty contest organized in connection with a Sri Lankan tourism promotion campaign.

The Ceylon Tea Queen and the first two runners- up will be flown to Sri Lanka by courtesy of Srilankan Airlines and LK Holidays on a week’s holiday.

According to Lester De Alwis, President /CEO of LK Holidays, the campaign commences with two Sri Lanka food festivals at Hilton Tokyo and Shinagawa Prince Hotel Tokyo. A team of Chefs from Galadari Hotel will be flown to Tokyo for the two food festivals between October 1 and 15. The Food Festival at Hilton Tokyo will begin on October 9 with two gala dinners on the first two days.

The highlight here will be Srilankan Airlines Japan annual awards night, Sri Lanka Tourism Night combined with Ceylon Tea Queen Contest.

The main event of the tourism campaign will be the Sri Lanka Tours and Cultural Festival, which will be held at Yoyogi Park, Shibuya Koen, Tokyo on October 14 and 15.
