Top Security Strategist at Lankan tech fair on Oct 25-27

Steve Riley, a top rated security specialist and frequent presenter at IT Forums and other major security events across the world, will be a key speaker at Tech-Ed, Microsoft's flagship annual technology conference in Colombo from October 25 to 27.

The event focuses on sharpening the skills of IT professionals to enable them to build, deploy and manage IT solutions in a competitive business world. Riley, who educate local IT professionals on advances on the horizon in the ever-evolving security technology industry, is a Senior Security Strategist at Microsoft’s Security Technology Unit in Redmond Washington.

He specializes in network and host security, communication protocols, network design, and information security policies and processes.

His customers include diverse ISPs and ASPs around the United States, as well as traditional enterprise IT customers, for whom he has conducted security assessments and risk analyses, deployed technologies for prevention and detection, and designed highly- available network architectures.
