SAARC workshop in Colombo on trade facilitation

International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) assisted by the International Chamber of Commerce Paris (ICCP) with the research faculty provided by the International Chamber of Commerce Asia (ICCA) is to conduct a two day ICC - SAARC regional workshop on “Trade Facilitation and Challenges for Customs and the Business Community,” in Colombo next January. SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) will coordinate the logistics for this workshop. The SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry will invite Director Generals of Custom and Senior Officials of Ministries of Finance. President SAARC CCI Dasho Ugen Tsechup Dorji of Bhutan and Secretary General of SAARC CCI Waqar Ahmad of Pakistan, Lee Jong Son of the International Chamber of Commerce Asia will inaugurate the workshop in the presence of Macky Hashim, Past President SAARC CCI, Nawaz Rajabdeen, President FCCISL and Tissa Jayaweera, Chairman ICCSL.
